Two shows down at Lit. Dingy, tight basement. Manhattan attraction. Semi-ridiculousness. Total ridiculousness.

In the midst of recording. Vocals, vocals, vocals, vocals. Had a big, old sing along. It was grand. Better than grand. The grandest.

And the ladies singing on Suzie-Lou. Oh man, was that special. One of the high-points of 1923. Just grand. Mics and headphones, and voices perfectly melding and working.

And then, the loneliness of the lone voice. The challenge in it's way. Getting out of its own way.
